The TUDOR “The Spirit of Daring Adventure” Exhibition, presented in collaboration with Cortina Watch, has concluded its celebration with a remarkable showcase at Paragon Singapore.
The event held on the evening of 18 August 2023, transported guests into a world of TUDOR. The exhibition spanning an impressive 268 square meters, celebrated the brand’s legacy to demonstrate robustness, precision and performance through the spirit of exploration.
Paragon, Singapore’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination, located in the heart of Singapore’s shopping district, Orchard Road, was transformed with the brand’s iconic colours black, red and white, exuding a bold and distinctive character – a true reflection of TUDOR’s adventurous spirit. As guests made their way into the mall, they were greeted with immersive displays of TUDOR’s out-of-home advertisements #BornToDare campaign ambassador, David Beckham, and the iconic TUDOR Ranger.
Amid the luxurious setting of Paragon Singapore’s main atrium, the historic reproduction of the M29 Weasel stole the spotlight at the TUDOR “The Spirit of Daring Adventure” Exhibition. The tracked vehicle, designed for operation in rough terrains, was used during the two-year scientific mission expedition in 1952. The heart of the exhibition, the M29 Weasel was a portal to a different era and enriched the exhibition with a unique touch of history and adventure. A testament to TUDOR’s adventurous spirit and commitment to pushing boundaries, guests’ curiosity was piqued with a walk-through of the collection of historical documents on display. Attendees had the opportunity to take home a memory of the historical exhibit with the M29 Weasel as a backdrop.
The brand’s distinct #BornToDare signage was on prominent display; a reference to the vision of Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of TUDOR. Through his vision, TUDOR watches were made to withstand extreme conditions – watches made for the most daring of lifestyles. This ethos has endured to the present day where TUDOR partners with cyclist Fabian Cancellara, winner of multiple Olympic and World Championships, to create The TUDOR Pro Cycling Team. Bringing its founding daring spirit to the professional cycling world, it charts a course that will impact many aspects of this exciting global sport. The TUDOR Pro Cycling Team has achieved the extraordinary, all with a TUDOR watch on their wrists. A virtual bike experience area in the exhibition encapsulated the exhilaration of the sport, where guests pedalled along a customised TUDOR Time Trial Challenge Crans Montana route, complete with realistic scenery and varied terrain.
The TUDOR Exhibition at Paragon Singapore was both a celebration of adventurous spirit and a culinary symphony, which was brought to life by two gastronomic powerhouses. Braci, renowned for its 1 Michelin Star Italian fine dining, and Analogue, crowned as one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023, created a memorable spread of refreshments that perfectly complemented the spirit of the event.
