In an exciting blend of racing heritage and modern craftsmanship, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer reveals five new timepieces in the TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection – four chronographs and the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing – a tribute to the fearless spirit of motorsport. Building on its deep connection to the racing world, these new additions take the TAG Heuer Formula 1 legacy to new levels, offering bold new chronographs made with cutting-edge materials, top ergonomics, and design details inspired by F1, with an added celebration of TAG Heuer’s ongoing partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Legacy

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection has long been associated with the thrill and speed that define motorsport. This excitement first took hold when the original TAG Heuer Formula 1 was launched in 1986, marking the first watch to carry the TAG Heuer name. For many collectors, it was their first Swiss timepiece, admired for its forward-looking design and striking color combinations. Decades later, this model has become one of the most coveted vintage watches, with enthusiasts looking into secondary markets to capture a piece that remains as stylish today as it was nearly 40 years ago.

What made this TAG Heuer watch so special was its ability to introduce a generation to Swiss timepieces, offering a way to assert personal style and individuality. As the first premium composite quartz watch, it drew collectors deeper into the world of horology. Now, in 2025, TAG Heuer seeks to continue this excitement and preserve its strong ties to the racing world with five new interpretations, including one crafted in collaboration with its longtime partner, Oracle Red Bull Racing.

For this new launch, the spotlight remains on the racing world—a nod to the adrenaline-charged history that still drives TAG Heuer’s philosophy. The collection embraces the definition of pushing the boundaries and defying the limits, a mentality that perfectly aligns with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

From the racetrack to the wrist, every element of this collection channels the essence of motorsport, with an added playful and youthful edge that complements the brand’s cool attitude.

Revving up the TAG Heuer Formula 1

Drawing from the high-energy world of F1, this new lineup introduces sharp and dynamic elements while staying true to its racing roots and TAG Heuer Formula 1 heritage. The new case reflects the aerodynamic lines of F1 cars, with the signature shape evoking the nose of a F1 vehicle. The bezel, with its micro-perforations, subtly references the brake discs on the fastest machines on the planet. Attention to the smallest details shines through in the indexes, reminiscent of the shape of the front of the F1 cars.

Ergonomics played a crucial role in the development of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph. TAG Heuer optimized the lug-to-lug distance for improved comfort while also refining the case profile to create a sleek and streamlined look. The use of lightweight titanium for the case – with some versions enhanced by a DLC coating – combined with a dynamic rubber strap, ensures these timepieces are both sturdy and comfortable, ideal for racing fans and city dwellers alike.

The core collection’s aluminum tachymeter bezel, framed by a colored ring between the case and bezel, draws inspiration from F1’s precision engineering, while the skeletonized hour and minute hands give the construction a modern, technical edge. The shaped pushers across the range amplify the mechanical feel, while lacquered crown rings in matching vibrant tones bring a touch of playful sophistication, reminiscent of the profile of F1 cars with similar hues.

The new timepieces make a powerful statement with their bold contrasts and vibrant colors, drawing inspiration from the energy of night racing. The concept of “Grand Prix by night” shapes the design, blending dark tones with vivid bursts of color. Though they share a common foundation, each watch presents its own unique color expression: the first model highlights a bold red running track and red lacquer accents, as seen in the second watch which is intensified by a red strap. The third version takes on a cooler feel with blue accents and a bi-colored black-and-blue strap, while the fourth introduces a fresh, lively lime green running track and bi-colored strap, perfect for those who want a more vibrant take on high-performance timekeeping.

The colored joint between the bezel and case beautifully introduces a sense of animation and movement to the timepieces. The running tracks of each watch – with new inserted indexes inspired by the universe of F1 – encircles the black opaline dial, reinforcing the kinetic energy of the collection and infusing energy and movement into the wrist.

A New Oracle Red Bull Racing Highlight for 2025

Alongside the core collection, TAG Heuer adds a special edition automatic chronograph created in collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing, one of the brand’s most successful partnerships.

Since the partnership began in 2016, TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing have unveiled eight coveted timepieces that have captivated fans and watch enthusiasts alike. United by a shared passion for precision, innovation, and the thrill of pushing boundaries, this collaboration reflects the dynamic spirit that defines both brands. This latest exclusive timepiece builds on that synergy, offering a more refined interpretation of the partnership and elevating TAG Heuer’s racing-inspired collection to new levels of sophistication.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing includes a grade-2 titanium case, a tachymeter bezel with a forged carbon insert, and a blue opaline dial with a checkered flag pattern that evokes the heart of F1. Every detail of this model reflects Oracle Red Bull Racing’s iconic colors, with Pantone hues carefully applied for authenticity. The checkered pattern, synonymous with the world of F1, is subtly engraved on the caseback, alongside the TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing logos.

A striking element is the red lacquer in the crown and the colored ring between the case and bezel, which adds a dynamic burst of color to the sleek design, complemented by the yellow lacquered central hand. The shaped pushers and skeletonized rhodium-plated hour and minute hands elevate the modern feel, while the bi-colored blue and red strap mirrors Oracle Red Bull Racing’s racing livery and the F1 cars dynamic color signatures.

The special packaging features the Oracle Red Bull Racing logo and livery colors, completing the experience and offering collectors and racing fans a unique and coveted timepiece.

With the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watches’ bold approach, meticulous attention to detail, and strong connection to F1, TAG Heuer once again redefines what it means to create a timepiece that is both functional and distinctive, speaking to any generation of watch lovers.

When Icons Race Together

TAG Heuer and Porsche celebrate their shared motorsport legacy with a limited-edition timepiece inspired by the first rally success of the Porsche 911 at the Monte Carlo Rally.

In the high-stakes world of motorsport and fine watchmaking, few partnerships carry the weight and prestige of the collaboration between Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer and iconic sports car manufacturer Porsche. In the fifth year of this partnership, comes the release of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye. A limited-edition timepiece honoring the unique legacies of the two maisons, combining Porsche’s indomitable 911 with TAG Heuer’s renowned expertise in precision chronographs. These new timepieces are inspired by historic Heuer dashboard times that were critical to success for competitors in the historic Monte Carlo Rally, one of the most prestigious and challenging events in the world of motorsport.

The timepiece comes in two variations: one in steel, and one in 18K 3N solid yellow gold. The steel piece is limited to 911 pieces, a special nod to the Porsche 911, a car that has forever changed the face of motorsport. The yellow gold version, for its part, is limited to 11 pieces.

The Monte Carlo Rally and the Porsche 911

This creation taps into the rich history shared by Porsche and TAG Heuer, harking back to a pivotal chapter: the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. During this event, Porsche’s newly introduced 911 made its competitive debut. The chosen car was a Porsche 911 with starting number “147”, based on a lightly modified road car, not primarily destined for competitive racing. Number “147” performed beyond all expectations, finishing an impressive fifth overall and second in its class. This was no small feat. The roads were treacherous—snow-covered with limited visibility—testing both the car’s performance and the precision of the timekeeping instruments, which came from non-other than Heuer, the predecessor of TAG Heuer.

Founded in 1911, the Monte Carlo Rally was renowned as one of the most difficult races in the world, testing both the endurance of drivers and the capability of their machines. The unpredictable and harsh winter conditions and challenging roads of the Alps made it a proving ground for automotive excellence. In 1965, the Porsche 911 “147” secured its place in history, and the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye pays homage to the pioneering spirit that ensured its success.

Piloting the 911 were two pivotal protagonists in Porsche`s history: Herbert Linge, one of the first employees at Porsche in Stuttgart, an exceptional engineer, mechanic and development driver whose racing highlights track those of Porsche in its early days. He was awarded the Mexican Order of Merit for three consecutive class victories from 1952 to 1954 as a co-driving mechanic in the Carrera Panamericana, and further had class wins in the Targa Florio, the Mille Miglia and 11 starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans to his name. A noteworthy anecdote that connects his personal story with that of Heuer, was his role as impromptu camera car driver, as well as stunt driver, on the Steve McQueen film “Le Mans” – in a Porsche 908 and a 917, respectively. Linge recalled, “Steve couldn’t take part in the real race himself for insurance reasons and didn’t have a car that complied with the official regulations. But he wanted the real pictures for his film – and I got them for him with the 908.”

The co-driver, and no less instrumental in Porsche’s history, was Peter Falk Porsche Director Racing Vehicle Development and engineer whose total career at Porsche AG lasted more than 30 years. He joined Porsche in 1959 and was then one of only a handful of employees in the test-driving department, by 1964 he started working in pre-series and racing support, where he got the 911 on the track, among others. Falk would later develop an in-car intercom system, but this did not yet exist in 1965. So, it took a certain pragmatism to overcome all the unexpected challenges of a grueling rally – including – how to communicate in a loud race car while reading out important directions? Peter Falk recalled the practical solution in 1965, “I spoke into a thick plastic tube that went straight into Herbert’s helmet. This speaking tube worked perfectly.” This pioneering spirit coupled with high-accuracy timekeeping equipment, exceptionally engineered automotive technology and some practical solutions, stood Herbert Linge and Peter Falk in good stead. Of 237 starters in the 1965 iteration of the Monte Carlo rally, only 22 arrived in the South of France. Linge and Falk were among them.

Their success with the 911 in such a brutal competition laid the foundation for Porsche’s lasting legacy in rallying, a history that would see the 911 dominate in subsequent years.

A Historic Bond

The shared motorsport heritage between TAG Heuer and Porsche has deep roots, and in Heuer`s case dates backover a century to early innovations in timekeeping for automobiles. As far back as 1911, Heuer created the “Time of Trip,” the first dashboard-mounted chronograph, evolving into the Autavia dashboard timer by 1933. These devices became critical tools in prestigious racing events like the 24H of Le Mans and the Monte Carlo Rally, and their precision made them indispensable in amateur and professional motorsport events alike.

One historic example of this shared heritage came during the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, when the Porsches 911 “147” driven by Linge and Falk, relied on Heuer’s Rally Master set to navigate the highly demanding course. These timekeeping tools were seen as invaluable, serving as a reliable reference point for pilots in low-visibility conditions. As Peter Falk later recalled, during some of the snowstorms the two could only use a compass and their timing equipment to navigate. The 1965 edition marked the 911’s first competitive appearance, paving the road for Porsche’s future triumphs in rallying, including outright victories of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1968, 1969, and 1970, where Heuer`s dashboard timers featured frequently among the most competitive entrants.

As rallying evolved, so did Porsche’s participation, extending beyond Monte Carlo to legendary races like the East African Safari Rally and the Rallye Paris-Dakar, solidifying the 911 as a motorsport legend. TAG Heuer’s influence in motorsport timing also expanded, with dashboard chronographs like the Monte Carlo from the Auto Rally collection becoming indispensable for rally drivers, offering precision that was essential for competing successfully at the pinnacle of motorsport.

And Here We Are

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye watch carries forward this pioneering spirit while introducing modern advancements. The watch is powered by the in-house TH20-08 Chronosprint movement, a chronograph that offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve. The chronograph module of the TH20-08 is unique to the Porsche partnership, with its two snail-shaped wheels resulting in the central seconds hand completing the first 15 seconds of every stopped minute at an accelerated pace, before slowing to complete the loop of the minute perfectly. A Porsche steering wheel-shaped rotor, visible through the sapphire glass caseback, forms another striking connection between the timepiece and the car’s engineering heritage.

The design of the watch is equally captivating, drawing inspiration from the Heuer dashboard timer present in the Porsche 911 “147” in 1965 and echoing elements of early Porsche dashboards. The black dial, a nod to the Heuer Master Time / Monte Carlo stopwatches from 1965, enhances legibility with its strong contrast and legibility, an essential element in the context of racing in low visibility conditions. Beige markings reference the original car’s steering wheel, while the dial’s finish evokes the shimmering effect of its bodywork, adding a refined touch.

The red lines on the right side of the flange are a graphical representation of speed, paying homage to the 0 to 100 km/h sprint achieved by the 1965 Porsche 911 “147” during the Monte Carlo Rally, calculated acceleration of 8.4 seconds—an improvement over the initial 1963 901’s time of 9.1 seconds. Intricate detailing on the dial brings the watch full circle. The azuré subdials, with contrasting silver rings, add visual depth. The TAG Heuer Carrera double glassbox construction on both the front and back of the timepiece, allows for an uninterrupted view of the movement along with improving its ergonomic profile, ensuring comfort and seamless wearability. The front sapphire dome elegantly frames the dial, while the caseback reveals the Porsche-inspired rotor.

Both steel and gold versions of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye express this commitment to excellence. The steel version comes with a classic H-shaped bracelet and an additional black perforated leather strap with beige stitching, offering a versatile look for any occasion. The gold version takes luxury to another level, made from 18K 3N solid yellow gold and paired with a black perforated leather strap with beige stitching and an additional light brown perforated calfskin strap, allowing for personalization.

From the timepiece to the box

Made from lacquered wood and finished in the same ruby red as the original Porsche 911 “147”, the packaging brings an added symbolic nod to the release. Inside, the watch rests on a perforated cushion, a subtle link to the perforated leather used in the straps. The packaging for the steel version features silver accents, while the gold edition has golden detailing. Each box also includes a miniature model of the exact Porsche 911 “147” which conquered the trials the Monte Carlo Rally threw at the Porsche team, further connecting the timepiece to the iconic car.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye pushes the limits of watchmaking while echoing meaningful details from automotive design, continuing a legacy built on speed, precision, and craftsmanship for TAG Heuer and Porsche. This timepiece tells a story that extends far beyond its mechanics, celebrating performance, a shared passion for excellence, and a tribute to history.

The Glassbox Goes Precious

TAG Heuer unveils The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph in a striking precious design, adding a new look to the TAG Heuer Carrera collection.

TAG Heuer is thrilled to introduce the next chapter of its legendary TAG Heuer Carrera collection, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph in a precious iteration. This release brings forth two stunning new designs, each blending the precision for which TAG Heuer is known for with elegance. These timepieces capture the perfect harmony of luxurious craftsmanship and dynamic energy, offering a fresh and refined interpretation of the TAG Heuer Carrera’s iconic legacy while maintaining its timeless versatility.

The Glassbox Evolution: A Legacy of Innovation

Since its introduction in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera has set the benchmark for wristwatch chronographs, becoming a timeless symbol of precision engineering and elegance over the past six decades. Named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana Road race, Jack Heuer’s vision for the TAG Heuer Carrera quickly captivated racing enthusiasts and watch aficionados alike with its ultra-legible dial, classical profile, and groundbreaking precision.

In 2023, the Carrera celebrated its 60th anniversary with the re-introduction of the iconic glassbox design—a homage to Jack Heuer’s innovative use of a flange to dislay crucial information. The curved sapphire crystal not only enhances visibility but also preserves the essence of the original Carrera, marrying classic design with modern advancements.

TAG Heuer elevates the glassbox concept to new heights, unveiling a precious interpretation that integrates a diamond-set flange and chaton diamond indexes. This meticulous configuration ensures every detail, from the radiant diamonds to the craftsmanship of the dial, is showcased with supreme clarity from any angle on the wrist, much like the perfect legibility of the dial.
Protected under the domed sapphire crystal, these diamonds retain their brilliance – to be fully appreciated from all perspectives – standing as a lasting testament to the enduring quality and sophistication of TAG Heuer timepieces.

Preciousness Meets Sporty Energy in the TAG Heuer Carrera

This new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph debuts in two stunning variations. One in the TAG Heuer Carrera’s signature blue and the other one in a delicate powdery pink. These colors create a cohesive narrative within the collection, reflecting the feminine sophistication and versatile and timeless appeal of the collection.

The circular-brushed finish of the dial adds depth and texture, drawing the eye into its captivating design. This finish ensures that the surface remains legible under varying light conditions. The dial is structured around a bi-compax layout, where the subdials are thoughtfully arranged to maintain both functionality and aesthetic balance. The rhodium-plated hands offer impeccable clarity and precision in timekeeping, while a discreet date window at 6 o’clock ensures that all essential information is readily accessible without disrupting the dial’s harmonious symmetry.

Elegance is subtly woven into every aspect of these timepieces. The diamond-set flange, adorned with 72 diamonds totaling 0.45 carats, adds a layer of sophistication to these timepieces, exuding luxury.

The 11 chaton diamond indexes, totaling 0.107 carats, curve gracefully along the inner flange, further enhancing this sense of preciousness. The curved indexes follow the arc of the inner flange, showcasing a continuity in design that reflects TAG Heuer’s commitment to consistency and excellence.

Completing these watches is a strap that combines style with versatility. The signature blue model is paired with a dark blue alligator leather strap, while the powdery pink version comes with a matching calfskin leather strap. Both straps feature an interchangeable mechanism, allowing wearers to easily switch between looks depending on the occasion. The straps also boast a subtle pearlescent effect, adding a luminescent quality that complements the watch’s luxurious design.

Additionally, two other strap options, a white alligator and a gray alligator strap, will be made available to add versatility to this release, both available in flagship stores and online. These straps, equipped with the CAPSA interchangeable system, are a perfect addition to this launch, further strengthening the elegance of the timepieces.

These new models introduce a refined and feminine expression of the Carrera spirit while maintaining a versatile appeal, thanks to their 39mm case size and balanced design.

A TAG Heuer Standard in Precision

At the heart of these new timepieces lies the TH20-00, TAG Heuer’s in-house chronograph caliber. An evolution of the Heuer 02 movement, the TH20-00 features a vertical clutch, column wheel, and bidirectional automatic rewinding, ensuring high precision, an impressive 80-hour power reserve, and a five-year extended warranty. The open caseback reveals the new finishings on the calibre, the new shield-shaped rotor, and the bidirectional mass, demonstrating the technical prowess that defines TAG Heuer’s watchmaking excellence.

With the launch of these new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph variations, the Maison expands its chronograph territory into a precious signature, presenting timepieces that are both a continuation of the Glassbox design and an evolution that introduces a refined expression to the core range.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Gets a Pastel Makeover

As TAG Heuer unveils the newest faces of its TAG Heuer Carrera Date collection, the spirit of this iconic timepiece takes on a soft and feminine palette. The TAG Heuer Carrera, a watch steeped in racing legacy and timeless elegance, now offers a delicate nod to modern femininity.

A Journey of Style and Function

Since its creation in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera has been carrying the legacy of Jack Heuer’s dedication for precision, inspired by the fast-paced thrill of motorsport. Over the years, this model evolved, adapting to new eras while retaining its sleek, functional charm.

The 36mm edition dates back to the original size of the TAG Heuer Carrera’s when it first debuted, taking in the essence of the watch’s earliest design. Their size, ideal for both form and function, has remained the perfect fit for any wrist, expressing the watch’s versatile appeal. With each new reveal, TAG Heuer refines this patrimony, as seen in today’s pastel editions of the TAG Heuer Carrera Date. A gradient track surrounds each dial, a detail that nods to the TAG Heuer Carrera’s racing heritage, serving as a graphical representation of velocity. It’s a reminder that, despite its soft palette, the TAG Heuer Carrera retains its bold spirit, bridging past and present with effortless style.

The pastel shades of these new TAG Heuer Carrera Date models are decked with a touch of sparkle – 11 diamonds glint subtly on the dial, totaling 0.2 carats. TAG Heuer’s use of classic diamond indexes lend a sophisticated, understated charm, aligning with the watch’s refined aesthetic, drawing attention to the pastel dials without overwhelming them.

These timepieces come with the reworked, iconic Carrera H bracelet in polished steel, making the pieces a testament to timeless femininity.

Both watches are powered by the latest Caliber 7 automatic movement, with a 56-hour power reserve. This movement also provides a 6 o’clock angled date to the watch.

With these delicate pastel shades, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Date brings a gentle femininity that doesn’t compromise versatility—ready to pair with any style, any occasion.
