This exclusive timepiece, limited to just 20 pieces, marks a new chapter in the relationship with H. Moser & Cie., a relationship that began many decades ago with Georges-Henri Meylan, Chairman of MELB Holding, and Cortina Watch’s founder, Anthony Lim.
The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph, known for its fluid and refined lines, draws inspiration from the dynamic shapes of the first speed trains of the early 20th century. For the first time in the Streamliner collection, the vivid and captivating Swiss Mad Red dial makes its debut, bringing a bold and striking new face to this iconic chronograph. Like a secret signature, the transparent lacquer logo is a subtle reminder of the minimalist philosophy cultivated by H. Moser & Cie., a brand which has become synonymous with refined elegance and understatement. The rich, deep hue of the dial is complemented by a red second hand, adding a touch of vibrancy and distinction to this limited edition.
On the movement side, this automatic chronograph with a central display and flyback function on the minutes and seconds is equipped with one of the best chronograph calibres ever designed. This movement was developed with a focus on minimalism and legibility by AGENHOR; this company specialises in designing complex watch movements and is one of H. Moser & Cie.‘s partner companies, in which the brand is a shareholder.
Visible through the sapphire case-back, the calibre HMC 907 features a 72-hour power reserve and a highly contemporary finish, with the traditional Moser stripes angled at 45° and anthracite grey rhodium- plating on the bridges and main plate. The oscillating weight has been placed between the movement and the dial to allow the operation of the chronograph and its column wheel to be admired.
