With its role as the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, Longines timed the sensational win of Abdel Said (Belgium) riding Bonne Amie in the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha on Saturday. The Belgium rider brought immense passion and plenty of thrills by finishing ahead of Harry Allen on Calculatus and Marcus Ehning on Coolio 42, who secured second and third place, respectively. The brand presented Abdel Said with an elegant timepiece to recognize his outstanding performance.
On this occasion, Longines was proud to highlight the Official Watch of the event – the new Mini DolceVita. With its discreet profile, classic styling, and aesthetic variations that are at once timely and timeless, this masterpiece exquisitely expresses, in equal parts, Longines’ quiet luxury and contemporary elegance. The meticulously designed collection was inspired by a Longines legend created in 1927 and the original DolceVita family from 1997. Created in an impressive range of colour options and configurations, the new references feature 21.50mm x 29mm stainless steel cases and are available with or without diamond settings.
