Omega Seamaster Diver 300m ‘Paris 2024’ Special Edition
To celebrate the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, Omega has released a special model for all sports fans. The Seamaster Diver 300m “Paris 2024” Special Edition is an ode to the occasion and comes with a winning touch of gold. Gold is, after all, the material that every athlete dreams of. Mounted on the 42mm case in stainless steel is a radiant bezel ring in 18K Moonshine Gold. It features a laser-structured diving scale polished and in positive relief, and for extra luminosity, a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock.
There is also the white ceramic dial carrying a wave motif. The Paris 2024 logo can be seen on the seconds dial, and the date display is inscribed with the typography of this year’s games. The back of the watch carries a stamped medallion showing the Olympic rings and the words “Paris 2024”. Behind the caseback sits the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8800.
Both the exceptional movement and the entire watch have passed the eight tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), guaranteeing the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance. Omega will be this year’s Olympic Games’ official timekeeper as well – which is the watchmaker’s 31st time in history, recording the dreams of the world’s best athletes.
Cartier Santos De Cartier
In terms of being a recognisable classic, the Santos De Cartier draws eyes with its graceful yet masculine features. The Santos De Cartier steel and gold model carries a mechanical movement with automatic winding Caliber 1847 MC. It has a 40mm steel case with a bezel in yellow gold, a seven-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel, an anthracite grey dial with satin-finish gradation, and sword-shaped hands in polished gold-plated steel.
The Cartier Santos watch was first created all the way back in 1904 for Alberto Santos-Dumont, a Brazilian aeronaut, sportsman and inventor who contributed to the early development of aircraft. It has since lived on with various models released over the decades, remaining a favourite among stylish gents who crave adventure. When it comes to fine watches, it is hard to go wrong, but finding the perfect model will certainly make this Father’s Day even more special.
TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Chronograph Gold
For fathers who are adventurers at heart, the TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Chronograph Gold will be perfect for them. The original Skipper was created after the yacht Intrepid’s victory in the 1967 America’s Cup. Last year saw a beautiful stainless-steel model introduced – but it is probably this year’s rose gold version that will turn heads. With a 39mm blue brushed dial, it is the perfect blend of a design that is both chic and classic.
Not only that, the dial references the iconic Skipper model 7754 of 1968. It features contrasting colours within the subdials: green, orange and teal blue, which reminds of Intrepid’s colour scheme. The transparent caseback showcases the in-house Heuer 02 regatta-updated caliber with a new bidirectional rotor shaped like TAG Heuer’s iconic shield symbol. This movement with a vertical clutch operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has an 80-hour power reserve.
